Raw Diets for your dogs, cats, and reptiles. Lamb, beef, mixed proteins, green tripe, and training treats.

About Us.

We are a family owned and operated business.  From Grandma, Dad and Mom, the two Brothers, our young children and lots of help from close family, friends and a couple proven employees.  We try to provide our customers with the absolute best product in a timely manner.

We do our best to support the local farmers and ranchers in the area.  We have raised animals and we know the difficulties involved.  That is why we buy almost all of our products in Box Elder County.  That way we can make long lasting partnerships and friends and help support our local economy.

We treat every animal that comes through our shop as if it was our own.  From trimming that little extra scrap of meat off the bone (for just a little more burger) to taking the extra step to keep everything clean and sanitary.  We want you to be 100% satisfied and keep you as a customer.

Our motto is if we treat you great you will recommend us to your friends and family.  No amount of advertising can compete with a friend or family member recommending us.  We know that if we take the extra step to impress you and keep you happy it will pay off in the end.

Unfortunately we do occasionally make small mistakes.  But when this happens we will bend over backwards to correct the mistake.  Then we will do our absolute best to make sure the mistake is not repeated.

Thanks to all our current customers. If you have any suggestions as to how we can improve please let us know.

Thanks again.

Our Story:

About 5 years ago I adopted a 1 year old mixed breed dog from a no kill rescue. He was a great dog, tons of energy, very loving, extremely smart, and protective of my wife, but he was always throwing up and had constant diarrhea (and bad gas). We worked through the commercial dry dog food brands and finally settled on one that was made for sensitive stomachs. It reduced his throwing up to only a few times a week but he still had diarrhea (and bad gas).

I then met a strange guy that told me about the raw diet. I was polite and listened but had that vacant look in my eyes. He handed me a few pounds of ground rabbit (with bone and organ) and said to see how my dog liked it. I started out mixing it in with his kibble, but had a big mess to clean up as my dog would "spit out" the kibble and only eat the raw rabbit (obviously my dog knew more than I did). I started feeding him more and more raw and gave up entirely on kibble. After a few weeks on the raw diet his vomiting was gone, he had good stools (and fewer trips outside to go to the bathroom), and his bad breath was gone.

Being a butcher I was able to start adding variety to my dogs diet. Beef, lamb, turkey necks, offal, pork, and wild game. We then started running the gamut of meats to figure out what he would and could eat. Beef and lamb were a hit. Pork tended to give him gas (when given in large amounts). He liked venison and buffalo, but wouldn't eat elk, pheasant, goose, duck, or other "wild" fowl. While he liked heart and tripe he wouldn't eat liver, kidney, or pancreas.

The grinds that we have listed are the successful blends that I tried and tested on my dog. The mixed protein grinds are ways that I was able to introduce other species into his diet without him turning up his nose at them. I firmly believe that all animals should have a varied diet.

If there are other animals you would like to see offered here please drop us an email and we will work on getting them.

Brutus continues to check out all of our new grinds and blends. He is now accompanied by Hannah.
